
Founder
Fr. John Antony is the founder Fountain Institute. He did M.A. in Pastoral Counselling in Toronto, Canada; Licentiate in Pastoral Theology, Rome; and M.A. in Sociology in India. His contributions to the field of counselling, psychotherapy and related subjects are remarkable. He has authored twenty-eight books, which are used as textbooks in various centres of counselling, colleges, and universities. He is an experienced and insightful psychotherapist with many years of experience as a counsellor, psychotherapist, professor, and trainer. He is an innovative and energetic therapist with a warm personal style. He is a competent skills trainer of counsellors and psychotherapists. After many contributions, he has gone to the creator, having produced thousands of counsellors and to the counselling field.

Director
Rev. Dr. I. Dewaram Francis Raj OFM. Cap has done a Masters in Commerce and is a Gold medalist in Commerce from Bharathidasan University and has done a Masters in Applied Psychology from Bharathiar University. He has done his M.Phil from the same University. He has recently completed a PhD. in Counselling Psychology from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. He has done ACIM (Advanced Diploma from Indiana of Pollis, U.S.A). He has presented papers in various International Conferences (Delhi, Mysore and Bangalore). He has attended various workshops, especially. EMDR in Sri Ramachandra Medical University, Chennai. He has done his clinical Practicum from the same University. He has also specialised in clinical Hypnosis from CHII, Bangalore. He is interested in research papers. He is gifted with organising. He is interested in individual counselling. He is currently the director of the Fountain Institute.

Program Coordinator of University Studies
With a dictum to Heal the Inner Self of the suffering Fr. Stanley Alex was ordained as a priest in the Capuchin Order in 2014, is much interested in the field of counselling and psychotherapy. At present, he is appointed as the coordinator of University Studies at Fountain. He has acquired his bachelor’s Degree in Business Mathematics and Administration from M.K. University and completed his counselling course in Anugraha Dindigul and done his M.Sc. in counselling and psychotherapy, PG diploma in school counseling from Periyar University Salem, MPhil in counseling and psychotherapy from Anugraha Institute of social sciences under MK university, PhD in psychology in SRU University Alwar, and PhD in pastoral Psychology CTU Chicago America specialization on PTSD of the Refugees and Victor Frankl’s Logotherapy. He gives classes, seminars and Psycho-Charismatic Popular Mission retreats in different places. He enjoys teaching Developmental Psychology and Clinical Psychology as well as personal counselling. He has completed his PhD from States.

Rev. Dr. Joe Sanjay OFM Cap. is a distinguished academic personality and counsellor with a strong background in psychology, counselling, and psychotherapy. He has cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) and gained valuable experience at Franciscans International, an NGO working with the United Nations. He has published research papers in national and international journals and served as visiting faculty in various institutions. Currently, he serves as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu, and is involved in various academic and counselling roles, showcasing his expertise and commitment to the field.

Fr. Arul Xavier is a well-recognised expert in the fields of Psychotherapy and Counselling. He holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counselling from Fordham University in the U.S. He is affiliated with The Fountain, a counselling and training centre in Krishnagiri, India, where he serves as a staff member and was previously its director. His work focuses on counselling and therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. He is known for providing training and presentations on various psychological topics, including Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Developmental Psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Hypnotherapy. He conducts workshops on topics such as clinical hypnotherapy and training for tele-counsellors. He is cited in a book on family therapy, indicating his contribution to the field.

Fr. Sahaya Selvaraj has done his M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology, PG Diploma in School counselling from Periyar University, Salem, and Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Anugraha, Dindigul. Obtained M.A. English in Madurai Kamarajar University. He was the administrator of the Fountain Institute of Psychology and has experience in teaching and practising counselling and psychotherapy for 10 years. He is a Reflexologist and SuJok Practitioner.

Fr. G. Tamil Selvam, OFM Cap., was ordained in 2006. He is a Psychotherapist and Trauma Counsellor. He is a life member of the American Pastoral Counselling Association. He holds a Masters in Commerce, a Masters in Counselling and a Masters in Philosophy and Religion.
He has completed his four-year Professional Counselling at the University of Toronto, Canada (2010-2014). Currently, he’s the only one in India to have qualified in Four-year Professional Counselling in Self Psychology, a Relational model of counselling being taught at the Pastoral Counselling Education, affiliated to the University of Toronto, Canada, ranked 17th in the world. He holds the Title, “Master in Trauma” awarded by Hincks Delcrest Centre, Affiliated to the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, Canada.
He has 15 years of Professional Practice in Canada, Dubai and India. He is one of the National executives for the Conference of Catholic Psychologists of India, representing Tamil Nadu. He was appointed as a Psychiatric Counsellor by the Department of College Studies at Loyola College, Vettavalam in 2020. Since 2020, he has been doing online counselling in India and abroad.
He has offered more than 100 Motivational workshops, Programs, Certification courses, Retreats and Seminars based on Self Psychology to Police Dept, Psychiatrists, Doctors, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Social Workers, Students of the above fields, School Students, Youth, Arts and Engineering college students, Pre- Marital and Married Couples, Families, Teachers, Professionals in IT and Health Industry, Alcoholics, Religious, Priests and NGO’s. So far, 11994 persons have participated in his 1444 hours of workshops, courses and Classes.
He worked for two years as a chaplain for deaf Catholic members in the Archdiocese of Toronto, Canada, learning American Sign Language and counselling them. Currently, he serves as the Director of Padony Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre in Thillainagar, Trichy.

Fr. J. Ignashious Amirtharaj, OFM Cap., born on August 21, 1986, is currently the Prefect of Studies at St. Joseph’s Capuchin Institute of Philosophy and Religion in Kotagiri, The Nilgiris. He holds an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Licentiate in Philosophy, and a Diploma in Safeguarding Minors and Vulnerable Persons. Since 2016, he has worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist and gained teaching experience at Anugraha and Fountain. Fluent in Tamil, English, Italian, and German, Fr. Dr. K. Soundar Rajan served as a lecturer in Entomology for 25 years at the TNAU (Tamil Nadu Agricultural University). After early retirement, he qualified himself as a counsellor in the Anugraha Counselling Institute, Dindigul. He has also qualified himself as a co-counsellor (Re-evaluation Co-counselling). He has 15 years of teaching and counselling experience. His qualifications include: MSc and PhD in Agricultural Entomology, PG Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy, P.G. Diploma in Counselling from Annamalai University, Diploma in Counselling, IGNOU, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He has edited 15 books on Counselling written by Fr. D. JOHN ANTONY.

Ms. Christina has been in the field of counseling for the past 15 years. She has completed her Undergraduate in Psychology and her masters in Social Work in Medical and Psychiatric specialization and has an M.Sc. in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Owing to her passion for Counselling, she did her post-graduation diploma in advanced counselling training program. She is also a trained Psychometrician. She is specialized in psychotherapy, art-based therapy and family therapy. Now she is doing her Ph.D. in Psychiatric social work.
She started her practice since 2008. She has a rich counseling experience serving with various institutions like Good Shepherd International School, Ooty, Santhome School, Chennai, Balaji Medical hospital, V-Excell Special School, Chennai, ARKA Hormonal Hospital, Adayar, Expert adviser at Agaram Foundation and Radio Mirchi. She has been a resource person in various programmes in various media channels. She also actively engages herself as a free-lancer in many seminaries serving Jesuits, Capuchins and Salesians, various schools and colleges.
Currently, she is placed in Loyola College as the Coordinator of Counselling Center and she has been catering to the Psychological needs and issues of the students through a wide range innovative programmes and strategies, apart from one to one counseling since 2014. She is also a consultant psychologist and psychotherapist in ARKA hormonal center, Anna Nagar and a Consultant family counsellor in Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet.
